Chisom A’Marie
Chisom A’Marie is a Vice President at New Voices. She has eight years of experience in the sustainability space ranging from research, advisory, and finance. At New Voices, Ms. A’Marie’s main responsibilities are in origination, due diligence, financial modeling, transaction execution, and monitoring.
Prior to New Voices, Ms. A’Marie was a Senior Associate in the Power and Renewables investment banking group of Citigroup, where she primarily covered renewable energy companies and startups across mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism, and equity & debt financing. Prior to Citigroup, Ms. A’Marie was at Kingo Energy, a startup in Guatemala, where she executed two rounds of financings, analyzed field data to drive operational decision making and measured Kingo’s environmental and social impact. Kingo Energy became one of the first startups in Central America to raise over $20M by Series B financings. Ms. A’Marie also has experience working as a Project Engineer and Sustainability Consultant at Environmental Resources Management, where she advised Fortune 100 companies on regulatory compliance with the Clean Air Act, corporate strategy, and greenhouse gas mitigation strategies.
Ms. A’Marie started her career as a graduate researcher at the University of Delaware, where she obtained her Master of Chemical Engineering and conducted research on a novel organic photovoltaic. She holds an M.B.A. from Yale and a dual B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Engineering & Public Policy (EPP) from Carnegie Mellon University.
